The upcoming blockbuster game Illuvium is a potentially lucrative opportunity for early investors.

Illuvium is a collectible NFT RPG game and auto-battler rolled into one. There is an open-world RPG experience in the overworld, where you mine, harvest, capture, and fight Illuvials.

Illuvium is slated to launch two games in the first quarter of 2022. Illuvium: Zero and the Illuvium core game.
Illuvium: Zero is a mobile mini-game that will interact with the main game and will be a base building game which will be staged on a piece of land. The free version of land will not produce resources that can interact with the main game. Paid land will produce resources which can interact with the main game. Crown will be heavily investing in the initial Illuvium: Zero game to create a mining colony.
The Illuvium core, or primary game is where players will hunt for rare illuvials in an open-world style area, assemble them into teams and use them to fight. For the fighting portion, recently an autobattler private beta has been opened where qualifying players will be able to test gameplay in this survival mode portion of the game.
With this ability to experience gameplay, Illuvium is becoming a leader in blockchain gaming projects that can carry out on promises made to the community.
That’s not to say that the platform hasn’t had bumps along the way however. In late 2021, the Illuvium Discord server was hacked and this ultimately allowed attackers to announce a “stealth mint” that directed users to a fraudulent site. The Illuvium team took swift action by fixing vulnerabilities and refunding users that were affected. While attacks and exploits are concerning, the quick and open response by the team was reassuring that any future occurrences will be dealt with competently.
This responsive Illuvium team is made up of a public team with impressive backgrounds. The two founders, Kieran and Aaron Warwick, have experience building a successful crypto currency exchange and world-building game development. Illuvium also announced in late 2021 that they are adding executives with gaming marketing experience such as Scott McCarthy from Twitch, and Veronica Foo from Riot games.
